4-H Marine Science Camp June 8-9, 2013
The 4-H Marine Science Camp is an earth science adventure weekend for youth ages 9 to 13. This overnight camp will give the participants the opportunity to meet new friends and experience the wonders of the natural word. Included in the weekend experience will be activities such as fishing, canoeing, aquatic habitat, wildlife, and much more. Shooting Sports Camp June 17-21, 2013
The Airfield 4-H Center will be hosting a Shooting Sports Education Camp June 17-21, 2013. Participants will learn proper and safe handling of firearms. All classes are taught by 4-H / NRA certified instructors. This program is open to youth 9-18 years old. Through the special programs, classes, and campfire experiences, participants will learn how to plan ahead, work with others, and develop leadership and character. The cost for this event depends on discipline the child participates in and includes meals and lodging. All interested individuals should contact the Airfield 4-H Center at (757) 899-4901 to request registration information. The registration deadline for participants is May 31, 2013.

Summer Cloverbud Camp July 5-7, 2013
The Airfield 4-H Center will be hosting a Summer 4-H Cloverbud event on July 5 - 7. This special event is designed for youth ages 5-8. Campers will have the opportunity to learn about archery, animal science, marine science, fun with foods, and arts and crafts. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in Water Olympics, songs and games, and campfire programs. This event will be a rewarding hands-on experience for all youth in the specified age bracket. The cost for the weekend event is $96.00 per child which includes meals, lodging, and program activities. Southeast District 4-H Camp August 12-16, 2013
