4-H PROJECT EXPLORE: C.S.I EDITION March 16-17 2012
The Airfield 4-H Center in Wakefield, Virginia, will be hosting a science and technology adventure weekend on March 16 - 17, 2012.Campers ages 9 to 13 will have the opportunity to work with local law enforcement officers to solve a mystery during Project Explore: C.S.I. Camp. Activities may include: tool markings and casting, tracking, fingerprinting and evidence recovery, spy crafts, and photography and documentation. Participants will also have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite mystery character in our costume contest!
This event will be a rewarding, hands-on experience for youth interested in forensics science. Participants may register at a cost of $86.00 which includes all activities planned for both Friday and Saturday. All interested individuals should contact Airfield 4-H Center at (757) 899-4901 or your 4-H representative at your local Virginia Cooperative Extension office to request registration information. The registration deadline for participants is March 2, 2012. Airfield 4-H Center is located near Wakefield, mid way between Suffolk and Petersburg.
